Alphabet Project: Letter D
It feels like it's been a long time in between these posts, but that is somewhat fitting because of how long it took me to write this entry in the Alphabet Project. Who would have thought he letter 'd' would give me so much trouble? There are some great 'd' words out there (you know what I'm talking about) ... (drinking! jeez get your minds out of the gutter people) also there were some great subjects in the topic book for 'd' like dragons, detectives, drunk driving, druids. You know all that fun stuff. But of the few rules to the Project, the one that I can proudly say I haven't broken is that the first random selection chosen, is what I write about.
Unfortunately, when the given subject is as uninteresting as my 'd' pick, I had to break a few of the other Project rules. After two abysmal attempts, I ended up taking longer than a week to complete this story, and I needed to incorporate super natural elements. This is far from my best work, but it's equally far from the abortions that came before.
Below is a snippet from "Daylight Savings Time". My lack of faith in this letter shows in my writing, but that means from here on out, things are looking up.
