Publication Anniversary: Look What I Found "The Anonymous Portrait"
Today marks the sixth anniversary of my story "The Anonymous Portrait" being published in the anthology Look What I Found.
I've talked about this story a few times before, even here on my website when I presenter a teaser of it. There are two things about this publication that make it stand out for me. Primarily, this was the very first story I had accepted to be published. (because of the differences in printing styles, it actually wasn't the firs to be published). Secondly, I really like this story. One would think that goes without saying for all of the things I had published, but that's not actually the case.
This story started life as an idea for an Edgar Allan Poe inspired anthology. However, before it could come to fruition, the publisher folded. That was when I came across the call for submissions from NorGus Press and their anthology 'Look What I Found' whose cover really caught my eye, and I wanted to be a part of it.
Thankfully, it was accepted, and that book officially started my writing career. Now in honor of its anniversary, I present the book for sale, and on sale, exclusively on my website and in the AzarRising Mobile Bookstore.
