Earlier this year I made mention that on this site I was going to focus less on what I hope to do, and more on my accomplishments. In that vein, I have a couple of quick tidbits for you all.
First and foremost, I have completed edits for my novel! Next step in this arduous task of publishing my sophomore outing is hiring an editor. One of the major lessons I learned with “Nightmare Noir” is that no matter how good I may think my editing capabilities are I should not rely solely on myself for this crucial step. Aside from numerous errors throughout “Nightmare Noir,” I'm currently reading a book with so many grammatical errors it takes me out of the reading experience every time. It reminded me of what I already knew, don't skimp on the editing. I don't know when I'll have any updates on that front, but you can read it here first.
Next up on the good news gravy train, as you may have seen from earlier this month, the first story I ever had published in an anthology, is now available for digital download on Amazon.com. You can pick up “I Knew we Kept you Around for a Reason” here. Thank you to everyone that's picked up the story. Because of it's success I hope to publish the rest of my stories through Amazon, getting them as much exposure as possible.
Despite the title of this post, I don't intend on making this a monthly habit. Stay tuned for more updates as they happen. Keep reading, and remember to always enjoy it.
